In March 2019 coniferous lumber production of Polish sawmills declined by 1% comparing to the same month of the previous year to 266,000m³.

According to data published by the Polish statistics authority in April, production in January also decreased by 1% to 245,000m³. As for February, a 2% rise to 239,000m³ was recorded. Accumulated during the first quarter, at 750,000m³, production remained virtually unchanged in comparison with 2018.
