In June 2023, the producer price indices for beech logs demonstrated negative tendencies in Germany. On average, the index for log wood decreased by -2,5%. B grade showed  -3,8. C grade in June declined by 2,5%.

For oak pulpwood an index of 116 points (5,7%) was calculated. Beech pulpwood logs reached 139,5 points (4,2%). The hardwood pulpwood index reached 135,9 points (4,4%).
